Welcome to St Edmund's, a Catholic School for students aged eleven to nineteen. school.jpg

Ours is a learning community where we strive to live out the motto of our patron 'To Love and Serve the Lord' in our classrooms, in our school as a whole and in the wider parish communities to which we belong. Our aim is to support the development of young people who respect themselves and others; to encourage them in their journey in faith, and to challenge and excite them through the opportunities for learning which the school provides.

St Edmund's has built up a reputation for academic excellence, for the quality of its music and drama, for its links with students and schools in other European countries, for its support of a number of charities and for the range of its sporting achievements. As we move forward in the third millenium and the third decade of the schools history, we aim to strengthen and develop that reputation for excellence in Catholic Education.

You are most welcome to come and see for yourself the ways in which the school is developing. Every October we hold an Open Evening for the main school and, in December, one for the Sixth Form. If you would like to visit the school at another time, simply email or telephone or write. Our pupils, students and staff will make you very welcome.
